Harjot Singh, 21, Taranveer Singh, 19, and Dayajeet Singh Billing, 21, have each been charged with one count of discharging a firearm into a place, a serious offence under Canada’s Criminal Code that carries lengthy prison terms.
The man has been charged with importing a marketable quantity of a border-controlled drug, an offence that carries a maximum penalty of 25 years’ imprisonment.
Court records detailed multiple assaults on his ex-wife, including dragging her by the hair and repeatedly punching her, as well as attacking her in the bathroom, leaving her with a bloodied nose and impaired vision.
