The 43-year-old father of two wrestled a rifle from one of the gunmen during Sunday’s mass shooting, an act authorities say may have saved countless lives.
Police said the shooting occurred just after 6.40pm near a Jewish community gathering at Bondi Beach, where hundreds of people had assembled for a Chanukah by the Sea event.
