“A local Hindu temple was robbed in broad daylight, with bystanders seemingly frozen, possibly fearing the thieves were armed. Our places of worship must be protected.”
Queensland Police have launched an investigation into the brazen daytime heist and are appealing to the public for dashcam or CCTV footage from the area around the time of the incident.
Two females – allegedly armed with a box cutter – entered a service station and approached the counter and threatened two male employees while demanding money.
“Exploring waterfalls, swimming at local springs or pools, boating and fishing are all part of the unique Territory lifestyle. We want to protect that by teaching our youngest Territorians how to swim while they’re in primary school.”
