27-year-old Gurjit Singh, an Indian-origin Dunedin-based technician, was discovered unresponsive and covered in blood outside his Liberton home on 28 January 2024.
The crash killed 42-year-old mother Nancy Lefrançois and her 11-year-old son Loïc Chevalier, who were travelling in a passenger vehicle struck in the collision.
