Hosted by the Victorian Multicultural Commission’s (VMC) Multifaith Advisory Group (MAG), the event brought together senior leaders from Victoria’s faith communities to reflect on ways to build a more harmonious and inclusive Victoria.
The coalition - comprising of Islamic, Hindu, Christian, Jewish and Buddhist communities - aims to
build stronger relationships between the respective communities, and foster greater engagement
with the NSW Government on common issues and areas of importance.
The crash killed 42-year-old mother Nancy Lefrançois and her 11-year-old son Loïc Chevalier, who were travelling in a passenger vehicle struck in the collision.
