UWA signed a new agreement with the Skill Council for the Mining Sector and FIMA (SCMS), backed by India’s Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
The investigation, led by the Box Hill Divisional Response Unit, has already resulted in 18 offenders being jailed, while 10 others remain before the courts.

Under the plan, free trains, trams and buses — originally due to end in April — will now continue until June 1. From that date, fares will be reduced by 50 per cent through to the end of 2026.
