For more than four decades, Ben and Lyn Covelli travelled regularly to the Himalayan nation, building deep ties with its people and communities.

Running from 1 October to 6 November, the annual exercise — now in its 11th year — is a partnership between the Air Force and the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO).

Born in Melbourne at just 32 weeks with cerebral palsy, Kayaan has spent his entire life on a bridging visa—until now.
