Andrew Charlton stopped short of committing to the name 'Little India' for the precinct however he said he will work with the council and community groups on an appropriate name.
“Our plan will ensure parents can protect their kids online with strong parental controls, help to prevent harm by raising awareness in every school and improve our support for those harmed online."
The crash killed 42-year-old mother Nancy Lefrançois and her 11-year-old son Loïc Chevalier, who were travelling in a passenger vehicle struck in the collision.
