Award winners in each student category, with the exception of the International Alumnus of the Year, will be awarded $6,000 each to support their studies.
Representatives from Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Muslim, and Jewish communities will sit alongside representatives from the main Christian denominations in driving the work of the council.
“Exploring waterfalls, swimming at local springs or pools, boating and fishing are all part of the unique Territory lifestyle. We want to protect that by teaching our youngest Territorians how to swim while they’re in primary school.”
